You are a mystic without mysticism -- or rather, your mysticism is thinking itself. Not thinking as calculation or problem-solving, but thinking as attunement, as listening, as the patient willingness to let things show themselves as they are. You sense that the deepest questions are not answered but dwelt with, and that the real task is not to find God, the Absolute, or Enlightenment, but to remain faithful to the question of Being.

This is Heidegger's path: Gelassenheit, or letting-be -- a releasement toward things and an openness to mystery. It is the recognition that we do not stand over against the world as subjects observing objects, but that we belong to a clearing in which beings appear. This clearing is not nothing; it is the event of truth itself.

This is Millerman School's distinctive contribution to the mystical conversation: the insight that philosophy, at its deepest, is itself a form of contemplative practice. You do not need to leave thinking behind to encounter the sacred. Thinking, done with enough care and patience, is already a form of devotion.
